why isolate edibles are still around..

single percentage absorption, a tendency to cause Hyperemesis Syndrome and incapable of any healing, why are isolate edibles still legal? #consumersafety #falseadvertising

Largely a result of the wacky way cannabis was originally legalized in Colorado, the focus on isolated cannabinoids has been a downfall of Cannabis Industry's attempt to provide real healing. Lobbyists claimed regulating cannabis would be as easy as monitoring Cannabinoid contents, and thus was born the isolate industry.

While 1950s failed chemistry might make one think isolating anything was a one way trip to failure and side effects, it did not stop the cannabis industry, or regulators, with the common sole objective of revenue generation.

Isolated cannabinoids are unable to provide the performances which make the endocannabinoid system's healing and inflammation reducing potentials so important to health. Virtually no health condition can be managed consistently, and no condition can be healed: cancer, seizures, enteric nervous system healing or any other. Isolates do not assist the endocannabinoid system.

As cheap as they are to manufacture, isolates cannabis edibles are also a waste of money. The body gets between 4 and 12% absorption of isolated cannabinoids, meaning for every 100 milligrams ingested, one is lucky to absorb 12 at best. Some research finds these absorption percentages even lower.

Further complicating this, absorption varies between dosages, so managing any symptoms consistently is virtually impossible.

More concerning is a propensity to cause Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome, almost always the result of daily ingested, isolated cannabis edibles. Symptoms include chronic nausea, and is only healed by abstaining from cannabis isolates.

It is clear regulators in America, and the industry itself, are far more focused on tax revenue than human safety or the potential of endocannabinoid healing. With 1.7 Million Americans diagnosed with cancer and another million with neurological conditions annually alone, it would seem both Cannabis and Regulators could aspire to greater purpose, likely generating far more revenue than relegating cannabis to a barely absorbed unpredictable recreational distraction.
