a chance meeting in 2023 changes the future of pharmacology in America
Around the turn of the last century a monumental change was made in medicine which had serious consequences to the future of America's health.
Medicine changed from localized plant based apothecaries providing standardized plant based medicinal formulas manufactured on site, to centralized manufacturing and national distribution, utilizing isolated standardized chemicals in place of plant compounds.
At the time this seemed a huge boost to the availability of medicine, but a century later we now understand that isolated compounds effectiveness is limited and they almost always come with real health risks.
But standardized manufacturing of plant based medicines was impossible, right?
That's why the 'Five Families' famously conspired to write the regulations and sell the pharmaceutical solution, because plants have hundreds of active compounds, and are slightly different from one plant to another, how could one ever create a consistent medicine in millions of doses?
SKMS notably proved it could be done which caught the attention of the DEA, FTC and CPSC and garnered their approval. Results driven research with the help of hundreds of clients over many years, determined what plant compounds worked, and established production methods insured consistent results.
The problem was still, the "how?" and "why?"
Without those two answers, a medicine could never be regulated, never be proven safe even if demonstrated safe, was unlikely to be prescribed by a doctor, could not be filed with the FDA, and would not be covered by insurance.
A chance meeting between a young AI pioneer equally obsessed with cannabis plant medicine and an RCM Co. representative at a national science conference changed everything.

AI could. And this gentlemen, had worked with the biggest names in Pharma, and knew just how to build that kind of AI machine.

In 2025 Real Cannabis Medicine Co. and SKMS entered into a cooperative partnership as the sole medicinal manufacturer in a team of data analysis resources, in Vitro Lab testing, and a leading university Research Lab. Data remains the sole property of SKMS insuring that organizations such as those that initiated the pharmaceutical industry have no access to control, or understanding of applicable regulation.
While it may be years until a insured safer genuinely plant based alternative is offered under insurance by your doctor, it seems the distance to that date was recently dramatically reduced. And there was a big surprise to RCM Co. staff from big pharma- little did we know, the FDA does not require safety trials for drug approval, or years of review. In fact, any plant based medicine with known safety parameters, established formulation processes and identified molecular content, can be approved in months by the Feds, something big pharma didn't want us all to know.
And with AI, all that can now be accomplished. Wow, huh? Didn't see that coming...
